Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking Intervention Tutors to deliver bespoke one-to-one sessions for SEND learners, across KS1 to KS5, in a trauma-informed, holistic setting. You will build strong relationships and re-engage pupils by delivering engaging, creative tutoring tailored to individual needs.

This is a self-employed, flexible role with in-person, hybrid and remote options across the UK. Applicants should have 2+ years post-NQT experience, QTS or QTLS, Enhanced DBS, and be based in the UK with

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) is required or advantageous
• Understanding of child-centred, holistic teaching approaches to tailor curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate) and 2+ professional references
• UK-based right to work (even for remote/online jobs) and safeguarding knowledge

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs
• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring
• Support pupils referred by local authorities and schools from KS1 to KS5 as appropriate
• Plan and report on lessons and provide regular feedback on progress
