Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support for students with SEMH, SEND, and other needs. Roles span Specialist Teacher, Intervention Tutor, and SEND Teacher, with opportunities across home, community, and online settings.

You’ll design trauma-informed tutoring plans, report on progress, and coordinate with parents and schools. Interviews are arranged as applications arrive, and people with QTS/QTLS and 2+ years of post-NQT experience are encouraged

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a trauma-informed way
• QTS / QTLS required
• Ability to work in a child-centred, holistic way and adapt curriculum to individual needs

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs
• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report on lessons and progress, with regular feedback
