Job summary

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting SEND Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Anglesey. You'll work with learners who require additional educational support due to a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Each tuition programme is tailored to the individual, allowing you to build positive relationships and help pupils achieve their personal and academic goals.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or classroom teaching.
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (desirable).
• Patient, adaptable and supportive approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to learners with SEND.

The Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting SEND Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Anglesey.

You'll work with learners who require additional educational support due to a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Each tuition programme is tailored to the individual, allowing you to build positive relationships and help pupils achieve their personal and academic goals.

Position Details

• Location: Anglesey
• Position: SEND Tutor
• Hours: 5-15 hours per week (flexible)
• Start Date: September 2026
• Duration: Ongoing

Experience, Training and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition or classroom teaching
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)
• A patient, adaptable and supportive approach

To be eligible, you must:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
• Provide two professional child-related references
