Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated SEND Tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition across Anglesey. You will deliver tailored learning programmes and support learners with developing independence and life skills to re-engage with education.

Ideal candidates will have experience with SEND learners, the ability to adapt teaching approaches, and a patient, nurturing manner. This role is part-time with flexible hours, starting September 2026.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (desirable).
• Experience supporting children and young people with SEND.
• Experience delivering personalised 1:1 tuition.
• Experience working with learners who may be disengaged from education.
• The ability to adapt lessons creatively to suit individual learning needs.
• A patient, understanding and nurturing approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 SEND tutoring to learners in Anglesey.
• Deliver learning programmes based on each learner's needs to re-engage with education and progress.
• Support learners in developing independence, confidence and life skills.
• Adapt lessons creatively to meet varied learning needs with a patient approach.
