Job summary

Hugh Baird College – Main Campus is seeking an EHCP & Transitions Coordinator to join the Learner Support team. You will manage EHCP processes and coordinate annual reviews and transitions across multiple sites in Liverpool.

The role requires strong organisation, communication and administrative skills, with a clear focus on supporting learners with SEND and ensuring compliance with SEND legislation.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Maths and English.
• Experience working with EHCPs, SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
• Experience managing a high-volume caseload and meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication, report writing and organisational skills.
• Confidence working with Local Authorities, families and external stakeholders.
• Excellent IT skills and experience using databases and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage EHCP annual reviews and consultations, ensuring statutory deadlines are met.
• Act as the main point of contact for Local Authorities, schools, parents/carers and external agencies.
• Support learners with SEND through effective transition planning and arrangements.
• Organise and facilitate annual review and transition meetings.
• Produce high-quality reports, consultation responses and learner documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and support High Needs funding and compliance processes.
