Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on daily supply across multiple secondary schools in Ely and surrounding areas. You will support pupils with SEND across KS3 and KS4, assisting teachers and SENCOs with learning plans and providing 1:1 and small group support.

Ideal candidates have experience with SEND, are patient, empathetic and adaptable, and willing to commit to daily supply across several schools.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with SEND in a school or care setting
• Confident working across secondary age groups
• Patient, empathetic and adaptable to changing needs as a SEND Teaching Assistant
• Able to follow safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
• Willing to commit to daily supply work across multiple schools
• Relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent are desirable
