Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant in Warrington to support students with complex learning needs aged 16 and over. You will contribute to a bespoke curriculum and promote independence in partnership with local SEND schools.

The role is full time, starting September 2026, with competitive pay (£475–£500 daily depending on experience) and weekly PAYE payments. Rights to work in the UK must be shown.

Qualifications

• Have a strong interest in working with SLD.
• Experienced working with SEND in residential or educational settings.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Be adaptable, resilient and patient.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.

Connex Education are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant on behalf of a college in Warrington due to rapid growth in student numbers.

The college I am working with provide support and education to students with complex learning needs aged 16 and over. The staff here deliver a bespoke curriculum in order to meet individual needs and promote independence for all students. Working in close partnerhip with local SEND schools, this college provides the next steps in many students educational journey.

The school are looking for 3 full time Teaching Assistants to start in September 2026.

Person Specification:

• Have a strong interest in working with SLD


• Experienced working with SEND in either a residential or educational setting
