Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Tranmere. The role would suit an experienced TA who is confident supporting children with additional needs and enjoys helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

You will support pupils with SEND both in and outside the classroom, work alongside the class teacher and SEND team, and help pupils access learning during a busy school day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND is essential.
• Experience with ASD, ADHD, EHCPs, behaviour or emotional regulation would be particularly useful.

• SEND Teaching Assistant
• Tranmere
• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Start date: early October 2026
• Initially until Easter 2027 with the possibility of extension to summer 2027
• Supporting pupils with additional needs both in and outside the classroom
• Working alongside the class teacher and SEND team

Experience supporting children with SEND is essential. Experience with ASD, ADHD, EHCPs, behaviour or emotional regulation would be particularly useful.
