Job summary
Qualifications
- NVQ 2 in teaching assistance or equivalent is required.
- Experience working with children with SEND is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and understand classroom roles.
Responsibilities
- Work under the instruction of teaching staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning.
- Assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
- Promote a positive ethos and role model positive attributes.
