Job summary

Beaucroft Foundation School in Wimborne is seeking a Teaching Assistant to be based at Wimborne (College) or Colehill (School). The role is full-time, term-time only, with hours 8:45am to 3:45pm, Monday to Friday.

You will work with pupils in small groups and support the class teacher in delivering a structured, caring learning environment. We welcome motivated, resilient individuals with experience supporting young people with SEND, including those with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with SEND including complex needs.
• Excellent communication skills and a flexible, resilient approach.
• Ability to work in small groups and with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering programs of work and maintaining a caring learning environment.
• Support pupils in small groups and one-to-one where needed.
• Help implement engaging learning activities and monitor pupil progress.
