Job summary

Beaucroft Foundation School invites a proactive Teaching Assistant to join our caring team at Wimborne College or Colehill School. The role is full time, term-time only, with hours 8:45am to 3:45pm, supporting pupils and assisting in delivering a structured program of work in a nurturing learning environment.

You will work with teachers and other TAs to support pupils with SEND, including those with complex needs, in small groups.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Ability to work with teachers and other staff to implement programmes of work.

We are currently recruiting to expand our brilliant staff team and strengthening it further in all areas of the school and college. We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will be based at our Wimborne (College) or Colehill (School) sites with a can do attitude. This position is offered on a full time, term-time only basis.

The role involves assisting the teacher and other teaching assistants in the development and implementation of a program of work and in providing a stable, caring and supportive learning environment for the pupils. You will be part of a team that is experienced and supportive where you can really get to know the pupils and your colleagues whilst working with pupils in small groups. The role is very varied, with no one day being the same, whilst being extremely rewarding. The working hours are 8:45am to 3:45pm with half an hour for lunch Monday to Friday.
