Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming all-through special school in Hungerford. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, at a daily rate of £92.63, providing dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with autism and other learning needs.

You will support academic development, emotional wellbeing and social interaction, and assist with personal care when required.

Qualifications

• Patient, caring and supportive approach to children with SEND.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for pupils with autism and other additional needs.
• Assist with academic development, emotional wellbeing and social interaction.
• Support with personal care when required.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to create a nurturing learning environment.
