Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming all-through special school in Hungerford. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, at a daily rate of £92.63, providing dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with autism and other learning needs.

You will support academic development, emotional wellbeing and social interaction, and assist with personal care when required.

Are you passionate about helping children with special educational needs and disabilities reach their full potential? Do you have the patience, empathy and dedication to make a real difference every day? A welcoming and expanding all-through special school in Hungerford is seeking a compassionate and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team on a full-time basis.

In this rewarding role, you will provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with autism and a range of additional learning needs. Working closely with both students and teaching staff, you will help create a positive, nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported and confident to learn.

Your responsibilities will include supporting pupils with their academic development, emotional wellbeing and social interaction, as well as assisting with personal care when required.

The school is conveniently located within walking distance of Hungerford train station, although access to a car would be beneficial due to the location.
