Teaching Assistant – SEND School (Merton)

Overview

A welcoming and inclusive SEND secondary school in Merton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant. This role offers flexibility, with options for full-time work or a four-day week, supporting students across primary and secondary age groups with Complex Needs, Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).

• Location: Merton
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Work Schedule: Full-time or 4 days per week
• Age Groups: Primary and Secondary

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide tailored support to students with complex needs, helping them thrive academically and socially.
2. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and accessible learning experiences.
3. Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment tailored to each student’s needs.

Requirements
