Job summary

Crosby High School is seeking two enthusiastic Teaching Assistants at Level 2 to join our SEN-focused provision from 1 January 2027. One permanent contract and one 12-month contract are available.

The role is term-time and based at Crosby High School, working across KS4/base class settings. You will support pupils with SEND, promote inclusive and creative learning, and work closely with our dedicated staff to raise achievement while safeguarding and welfare remain a priority.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Ability to work within a team and promote creative learning.
• Committed to welfare and safeguarding.
• Willingness to lead by example and inspire students.
• Experience with challenging behaviour management.

Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Crosby High School, is a Local Authority 178 place SEN school for pupils aged 11-1, with moderate to complex learning difficulties. We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistants from 1st January 2027. One permanent contract and one 12-month contract, please specify your choice on application.

Experience of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs is desirable. We are looking for someone who demonstrates a passion in relation to the education of pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Term time Level 2 Teaching Assistant. Supporting learning in a KS4 or Base class.

(Secondary model - TA2 will stay with class throughout day attending each subject lesson)

Salary: Grade D (33 hours per week) Term Time only +2 INSET days.
