Job summary

St Mark’s Catholic Primary School in Knowsley is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support pupils across the school. The post is permanent, part time and term-time, 30 hours per week across 46 weeks per year, with a start as soon as possible.

You will work with pupils, including those with SEND, helping to raise achievement and promote positive behaviour within a caring, supportive team committed to safeguarding and high standards of learning.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with SEND.
• Grade D / Point 5-6 indicates on scale for support staff.
• Part Time/Term Time pattern is required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in small groups during learning activities.
• Assist the class teacher with classroom duties and supervision.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of children.

The Governors of St. Mark’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant to provide support for pupils in our school.
