Job summary

St Laurence’s Catholic Primary School in Nottingham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 with SEN Allowance to support a pupil in year 5. This temporary role is 25 hours per week across 46 weeks per year, with a term-time/workback element and a start date as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 SEND support, collaborate with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver a personalised Provision Plan, and help develop communication, language and social interaction

Qualifications

• Have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (experience with needs such as communication difficulties or ADHD would be advantageous)
• Demonstrate high expectations and a commitment to raising outcomes for all pupils
• Be skilled in supporting children to develop independence, communication and social interaction
• Be patient, flexible and resilient, with a positive and nurturing approach

Responsibilities
