Job description

SCHOOL VACANCY

We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within our SEN team to provide support for pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan.

The successful candidate will have the skills to work alongside the class teacher and SENCo to ensure that the children are accessing the curriculum and making positive progress with their emotional development and their academic learning. Ideally, you will have some previous experience of working with children with SEND, but most importantly we are looking for someone who is calm, caring and consistent in their approach, who is committed to maintaining our high standards and wants to make a difference, and who is willing to ‘go that extra mile’ to better the life chances of our children. The role may involve supervising children over the lunchtime period.

In return, we can offer a supportive working environment, with colleagues who care deeply, are experts in their fields and who are passionate about what they do. We also offer a range of staff benefits, and further details regarding our benefits and information about our Trust can be found here.

The trust will be undertaking a job evaluation exercise in the near future and, therefore, the grade for this position may change.

Further details about the school are available on the school website – www.carrjunior.co.uk
