Egerton Community Primary School is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant with a Special Needs Allowance to join our inclusive team. The successful candidate will support pupils with SEN under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCO in KS1 and KS2.
The role is fixed-term to 31 August 2027 and pro‑rata to 18 hours per week, with a SNA allowance and a pro-rata salary. We value patience, empathy and collaboration with staff, parents and carers.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant with a special needs allowance to join our innovative and creative team. The successful candidate will be patient, empathetic, caring and have experience and/or qualifications within the area of SEND, especially with emotional school-based avoidance and Autism. Our primary school is entry level and prides itself on inclusivity, consistently striving for high standards for all children by adapting the curriculum and provision to meet the needs of all learners.
Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCO, the successful candidate will support individual pupils with EHCPs who have a recognised special educational need in KS1 and KS2. While this position is for a short fixed period, there may be opportunity to extend this further.
