Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to start January 2027 in Southampton. You will support pupils to achieve academic and personal goals in a nurturing environment.

Experience with UK schools is preferred, but training can be provided. You must have Right to Work in the UK, an enhanced DBS, and two professional references. Hours are 8:30am to 3:30pm, and pay is £140 per day.

Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant qualification preferable but not essential.
• Previous experience working in a UK School.
• Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to achieve academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement lessons and behaviour strategies.
