Job summary

Prospero Teaching are recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants for a school in the Lymington area, Hampshire. You will support students with Autism and mild learning difficulties, either in class or 1:1, helping them access the curriculum and engage with school life.

Start ASAP, term-time 39 weeks/year. GCSEs in Maths and English required. Enhanced DBS and UK Right to Work essential. Driving is required for some roles. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• GCSE requirements: Maths and English at grade C or level 4+.
• Experience with SEND pupils, especially ASD.
• Ability to support students to access the curriculum and participate in school life.

Responsibilities

• Support students with Autism and Mild Learning Difficulties in class or 1:1.
• Help students access the curriculum and build confidence.
• Promote positive engagement in learning and school life.
