Job summary

TeacherActive Limited in Redditch is seeking committed SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs, helping them engage with learning and build independence.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support in the classroom, encouraging positive behaviour and strong relationships with pupils and staff, with start dates after October half-term or in January. The onboarding process is supported by a dedicated team and CPD via the My-Progression platform.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND in education.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional learning, communication, social or behavioural needs.
• Ability to provide effective 1:1 and small-group support.
• Understanding of encouraging positive behaviour, engagement and independence.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach.
• Positive 'can-do' attitude and willingness to get involved.
