Step Teachers Ltd is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant for an infant school in Norfolk. This full-time, long-term role supports a complex SEND cohort of pupils aged 5–7, including EHCPs, with a focus on academic engagement and progress.

You will work alongside teachers, SEND staff and external professionals to provide targeted learning support, enable access to a pre-key stage curriculum, and help pupils develop confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing.

Qualifikationen

• Previous SEND experience is highly desirable
• Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs and complex learning needs
• Understanding of pre-key stage learning and development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, adaptable, and resilient approach
• Ability to support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing
• Experience within a specialist provision, SEND setting, or mainstream SEND support role is advantageous
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
