Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs across Thurrock. You will work in welcoming schools, providing one-to-one and small-group assistance to help pupils reach their potential and to support inclusive teaching.

A DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required, with flexible daily work and opportunities for day-to-day, long-term, and permanent placements across Essex.

Vision for Education is seeking compassionate, patient, and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in welcoming schools across Thurrock. The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.

• Work one-to-one and with small groups to help pupils achieve their full potential.

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

• Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.

• Encourage pupils' academic, social, emotional, and personal development.

• Adapt learning resources and activities to meet individual needs.

• Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
