Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SEND across Colchester, Essex. If you are patient, reliable and eager to help learners flourish, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role you will work one-to-one and in small groups, assist teachers with engaging lessons, and help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
• Experience with SEND desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Vision for Education is seeking compassionate, patient, and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in welcoming schools across Colchester. The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.

• Work one-to-one and with small groups to help pupils achieve their full potential.

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs.

• Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment.

• Encourage pupils' academic, social, emotional, and personal development.

• Adapt learning resources and activities to meet individual needs.
