Job summary

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Huyton. You will provide consistent 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND, helping them access an inclusive curriculum and develop communication and social skills.

Ideal candidates have experience with SEND, Autism, ADHD, SEMH or speech and language needs and will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to nurture progress and emotional well-being in students.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting Autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties or speech and language needs.
• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach.
• Confident supporting pupils with different levels of need.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to remain calm and consistent when managing challenging behaviour.
• A relevant education, childcare, SEND or TA qualification is desirable.

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Huyton. The school is seeking someone who can provide consistent, individualised support to pupils with additional needs and help them make meaningful progress both inside and outside the classroom.

This SEND Teaching Assistant role would suit an experienced TA, LSA or support worker with a genuine passion for working with children with SEND. You will work alongside experienced teaching staff to support pupils with their learning, communication, behaviour and emotional development.
