Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in Merseyside with 1:1 and small-group support to access an inclusive curriculum.

You will assist children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs, promote positive behaviour and collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to deliver targeted interventions and learning activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND
• Calm, patient and consistent approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt support to meet individual pupil needs
• Experience managing challenging behaviour is advantageous
• Relevant TA, childcare, education or SEND qualifications desirable
