Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a Grantham, Lincolnshire school. This full-time role is offered on a temp-to-perm basis with immediate start and hours from 08:30 to 15:30.

You will work 1:1 or in small groups with students with a range of learning difficulties and SEMH, requiring resilience and energy. A passion for education and safeguarding is essential to help create a safe, inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically with SEND/SEMH.
• High level of resilience and energy to support pupils.
• Passion for education and inclusion in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.
• Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs.
• Create a safe learning environment for pupils.
• De-escalate behavior that challenges through forming trusting relationships.

Aspire People are recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a school located in Grantham, Lincolnshire. This role is to work full-time, on a temp to perm basis starting immediately! The working hours are 08:30 - 15:30 and you will be working 1:1 or in small groups with students with various learning difficulties and special educational needs.

The role requires high level of resilience and we are ideally looking for people who are energetic and have experience of working with children with social emotional and mental health needs.
