Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is recruiting Teaching Assistants for a brand-new specialist school in Coventry to support learners with SEND.

You will deliver engaging learning experiences, build trusting relationships and support learners’ academic, social and emotional development. The role emphasises trauma-informed practice, inclusion and collaboration with families and external professionals.

Qualifications

• Passionate about improving outcomes for learners with additional needs.
• Experience with children or young people in education or care settings.
• Experience in sectors other than education that could enrich learners' life chances.
• Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively.
• Calm, resilient and solution-focused.
• High expectations with warmth and empathy.
• Flexible, creative and keen to learn.
• Understand inclusive and trauma-informed practice or willing to develop.
• Relevant professional experience enabling SEND teaching.
• Subject specialism welcomed to enrich curriculum.
