TeacherActive is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a school in Exeter for a part-time, long-term assignment starting in September. The role offers daily rates between £90 and £120 and involves supporting pupils with a variety of SEND needs.

The ideal candidate will have SEND experience, strong classroom management, and a proactive, flexible approach to adapting lessons to individual learners within a collaborative school team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children and young people with SEND.
• Strong knowledge of a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• The ability to adapt learning to suit individual pupils.
• A proactive, positive attitude with the confidence to use your own initiative.
• Flexibility and a willingness to get stuck in as part of the wider school team.
