TeacherActive in Exeter is seeking a part-time, long-term SEND Teaching Assistant to start in September. You will support children and young people with SEND, applying strong behaviour management and adapting learning to individuals, while working on-site as part of a supportive school team.

The role offers a long-term placement with daily pay in the £90–£120 range and access to ongoing CPD and professional development through TeacherActive.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children and young people with SEND.
• Strong knowledge of a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Ability to adapt learning to suit individual pupils.
• Proactive, positive attitude with the initiative to work independently.
• Flexible and willing to get involved as part of the wider school team.
