Job summary

Envision Education is partnering with a specialist school in Watford to recruit a committed SEND Teaching Assistant. You will provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support across classes, helping pupils with learning and development and working closely with teachers.

The role requires recent experience in education, an enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one, and the ability to commute to Watford or live locally.

• Previous experience working in a school or supporting children with SEND (reference required).

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support as a Teaching Assistant.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Observe and monitor pupils' progress and share feedback with teachers.
• Encourage pupils in their learning and support them in completing classroom activities.
