Job summary

REAch2 Academy Trust's Henhurst Ridge Primary Academy is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant who is committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences for children with diverse needs. You will support class teachers, work 1:1 and in small groups, and help create an inclusive, safe and stimulating classroom.

Experience in working with children with specific needs is essential; training will be provided for right candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children (essential) with specific needs in class, small groups and in 1:1 situations
• Ability to deliver whole-class learning and bring learning to life for hands-on experiences
• Commitment to raising standards and achieving excellence for all
• Strong willingness to work as part of a school team and show proactivity

Responsibilities

• Provide class support and adapt/extend learning in a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Deliver structured small group or 1:1 activities to ensure curriculum access for all
• Work with the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning opportunities and raise standards
