Job summary

Envision Education is partnering with a supportive specialist school in Harrow to recruit a committed SEND Teaching Assistant. The role involves providing support across classes and working closely with teachers to foster learning and development.

You will help deliver engaging lessons, observe pupil progress, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom. Prior SEND experience and a DBS (update service) or willingness to obtain one are required, with the ability to commute to Harrow or live

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a school or supporting children with SEND (reference required).
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• The ability to commute to Harrow or live locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support as a Teaching Assistant.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
• Observe and monitor pupils' progress and share feedback with teachers.
• Encourage pupils in their learning and support them in completing classroom activities.
