TeacherActive is recruiting two Teaching Assistants for a Specialist SEND School in Chippenham. The role is full-time and temporary with potential for longer-term work, based on performance and school needs.

You will support pupils with SEND, complex needs, autism/ASC, ADHD, SLCN or SEMH, including physical or mobility challenges. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to boost learning, engagement and independence, with ongoing training and a hydro pool facility to aid development.

Competenze

• Experience supporting children with SEND or additional needs.
• Experience supporting children with Autism / ASC, ADHD, SLCN or SEMH is desirable.
• Experience supporting children with physical or mobility challenges is advantageous.
• A patient, calm and resilient approach when supporting children with complex needs.
• The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to support pupils with individual barriers to learning, communication and engagement.
• A positive, flexible and adaptable attitude.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
• A genuine commitment to helping children develop confidence, independence and resilience.
