Job summary

Axcis Education in Bracknell is seeking a caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join the team, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 3:30pm. You will support children with ASD, help them participate in lessons, and manage daily routines to build confidence and independence.

Personal care is a component of the role and must be handled professionally. DBS checks are required, with processing may be done by Axcis on your behalf, in line with safeguarding guidelines.

Qualifications

• You must be suitably qualified for the position.
• DBS checks must be up to date or you must allow Axcis to process one on your behalf.

Responsibilities

• Support children with ASD to participate in lessons.
• Assist with daily routines and develop their confidence and independence.
• Perform personal care duties in a professional and sensitive manner.
