Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant in Warrington to support students with complex learning needs aged 16 and over. You will contribute to a bespoke curriculum and promote independence in partnership with local SEND schools.

The role is full time, starting September 2026, with competitive pay (£475–£500 daily depending on experience) and weekly PAYE payments. Rights to work in the UK must be shown.

Qualifications

• Have a strong interest in working with SLD.
• Experienced working with SEND in residential or educational settings.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Be adaptable, resilient and patient.
• DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and education to students with complex learning needs aged 16+.
• Work with local SEND schools to deliver a bespoke curriculum and promote independence.
• Contribute to the next steps in students educational journey.
