Job summary

Job description

SEND Teaching Assistant – Fixed Term until 31st August 2025

22.5 hours per week – St Michael's Term time plus INSET days (total 34 weeks pa)

We have an exciting opportunity to join as a SEND Teaching Assistant in a part-time role supporting our Learning Development Coordinator. This position involves working with small groups and on a 1:1 basis in the classroom and SEND classroom. Experience with children with SEND is preferred, as you will collaborate on ideas and think creatively daily. The ideal candidate will be a team player, committed to ensuring children feel seen, heard, and supported, with a natural affinity for working with children, especially those with SEND.

The successful candidate should hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, preferably in Early Years.

The role is fixed term until 31st August 2025, working three days a week: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
