Job summary

Cover People are recruiting a Primary SEND Teacher to join a specialist primary school in Trafford from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term role teaching a KS2 class of pupils with complex learning needs.

You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes, create a calm, inclusive classroom, and work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and the wider SEND team to monitor progress and support pupils’ academic, social and emotional

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Experience teaching primary-aged pupils, ideally in SEND or specialist settings.
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
• Passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to Work in the UK and two professional references.

We are recruiting a PrimarySEND Teacher to join a welcoming special needs primary school in Trafford from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term role teaching a Key Stage 2 class of pupils with complex learning needs.

Role: Primary SEND Teacher – Trafford

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for a permanent position)

Hours: Monday to Friday

Pay: £160–230 per day DOE – paid PAYE direct via Cover People.

The Role
