Job description

Axcis Education is seeking to appoint a teaching assistant for a long-term role at a Preston-based SEND provision. The school, located near Kirkham in North Preston, caters to students of all ages with various additional needs, including autism, ADHD, MLD, SEMH difficulties, physical disabilities, and complex needs. Many students exhibit challenging behaviors and require personal care.

The successful candidate will join the team on a long-term, potentially permanent basis, with roles starting as soon as possible. School hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities include providing 1:1 and small group support across different age groups, working with children with diverse needs. Personal care duties will also be required.
