Job description

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Hays Education is recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a brand-new SEND unit within a primary school, starting in September.

The Role:
  • Work within the new SEND unit, providing tailored support to 8 pupils.
  • Collaborate closely with a KS2 Teacher and another Teaching Assistant to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist in delivering engaging lessons that cater to individual learning needs.
  • Foster a supportive and nurturing atmosphere, helping pupils thrive academically and emotionally.
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with SEND pupils in an educational setting is desirable.
