Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd is recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants across North London to provide 1:1 and small group support in local schools. You will help pupils with diverse needs, adapting materials to ensure access and inclusion while working closely with teachers.

Previous SEND experience is valued; Team-Teach or Makaton training is a plus, and an enhanced DBS check is required. Temporary, part-time, and term-time placements available within framework-supported schools.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting children or adults with SEND.
• Certifications or training like Team-Teach, Makaton, PECS, or ADHD awareness are desirable but not mandatory.
• Enhanced DBS check clear for working with children.

Responsibilities

Salary/Rate: Framework Capped Support Rates (Competitive Daily Take-Home)

Contract: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Term-Time regular placements

About the Role

Are you passionate about unlocking the potential of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) ? We are recruiting dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants across North London to step into 1:1 and small group support roles within mainstream academies and specialisedalternative provisions.

Because we operate on the RM6376 framework , schools come to us first when funding for new Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) is approved.

What You Will Do

• Provide tailored 1:1, behavioural, or sensory support to children with diverse needs (e.g., ASC, ADHD, SEMH, or physical needs).
• Assist the classroom teacher by adapting learning materials to make them accessible.
• Foster an inclusive environment where students feel confident and supported.
