Job summary

Envision Education in London area is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a school in Richmond upon Thames. You will support children and young people, including those with ASC, in a caring, structured environment. The role involves 1:1 support, helping pupils engage in learning, and assisting with lesson delivery alongside teachers.

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a school in Richmond upon Thames. Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or have valuable transferable experience working with children and young people, we'd love to hear from you!

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with young children, including those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them feel safe, supported and confident as they begin their educational journey.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide classroom and 1:1 support to students, helping them engage confidently with their learning.
• Work closely with teachers and school staff to create a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Support teachers with planning and delivering interactive and engaging lessons.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students.
• Encourage and motivate students to participate, develop their skills and achieve their potential.
• Provide consistent support to help students overcome challenges and thrive in the classroom.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Is available Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm.
• Has at least 6 months' experience working with children.
• Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for one.
• Is passionate, patient and enthusiastic about supporting children and young people.
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Higher-level qualifications are preferred, but transferable experience will also be considered.

Pay Rate: £80- £100 per day (PAYE), depending on experience.

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience, and skills.
