Job summary

Envision Education in London-based Richmond upon Thames is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support children and young people to reach their full potential. You will provide classroom and 1:1 support, working with teachers to create a safe and engaging learning environment for all students, including those with ASC.

The role requires Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm, with at least 6 months’ experience, an Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply, and a passion for helping young

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people and helping them reach their full potential?

We're looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a school in Richmond upon Thames. Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or have valuable transferable experience working with children and young people, we'd love to hear from you!

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with young children, including those with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them feel safe, supported and confident as they begin their educational journey.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide classroom and 1:1 support to students, helping them engage confidently with their learning.
• Work closely with teachers and school staff to create a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Support teachers with planning and delivering interactive and engaging lessons.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Is available Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm.
• Has at least 6 months' experience working with children.
• Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for one.
• Is passionate, patient and enthusiastic about supporting children and young people.
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Higher-level qualifications are preferred, but transferable experience will also be considered.

Pay Rate: £80- £100 per day (PAYE), depending on experience.

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience, and skills.
