Qualifications

• Experience as SEND TA or with SEND children in care/education.

Responsibilities

• Support behaviour management, nurture pupil confidence and focus.
• Assist inclusion of core learning activities to ensure equal curriculum access.
• Record progress with SENCOs and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Classroom Inclusion: Assist the class teacher in adapting core learning activities to ensure equal curriculum access across Birkenhead settings.
• Progress Recording: Work alongside SENCOs and support teams to track developmental milestones gained through targeted education and training.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable experience serving as a SEND Teaching Assistant or working with SEND children in care/educational settings.
• Strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and a creative, child-centred mindset.
• A proactive approach to expanding your qualifications through specialized education and training.
• An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one through Academics).
