Job summary

Cover People is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged students, including those with Autism and Complex Needs, at a Salford school. The role is full-time, 8:30 am–3:30 pm, with a daily pay rate DOE and PAYE through Cover People.

You will assist in classrooms, foster an inclusive learning environment, and help pupils build confidence and social skills while collaborating with teachers to tailor support for each child.

Qualifications

• A valid DBS certificate or willingness to apply for one.
• Two professional references.

The SEND Teaching Assistant Role:

• Start Date: ASAP.
• Contract: Long-term, with potential for permanency.
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am 3:30 pm.
• Pay: £(Apply online only) per day (DOE), paid PAYE directly through Cover People.
