Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a SEND Teacher for a secondary setting in Melksham. You will deliver planned lessons and provide targeted support to students with SEND, including SEMH, ASD and ADHD, ensuring inclusive practice and behavioural strategies are applied.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, with a temporary-to-permanent path for the right candidate. You must hold UK QTS and have experience in SEND settings.

Qualifications

• UK QTS is required with experience in SEND including SEMH/ASND/ASD/ADHD and related behaviours.
• Experience delivering lessons and supporting students with a range of SEND needs.
• Ability to implement inclusive teaching strategies and manage challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and adapt lessons to meet SEND learners' needs.
• Support and guidance for students with SEMH/ASD/ADHD and other needs.
• Collaborate with LSAs and staff to implement effective strategies.
