Job summary

Luma Education Recruitment is seeking a QTS-qualified Teacher to join a specialist education setting in Totnes, Devon. This role blends classroom teaching with outdoor learning and life skills to support young people with additional needs.

You will deliver Maths, English and Functional Skills, help pupils build independence, confidence and communication, and work both inside and outside the classroom in a personalised, practical environment.

Qualifications

• QTS-qualified teacher with registration
• Interest in SEND and practical outdoor learning
• Experience with developing independent living and life skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised learning for pupils with additional needs.
• Teach Maths, English and Functional Skills and support life skills.
• Incorporate practical and outdoor learning into daily lessons.
• Support pupils to develop independence, confidence and communication.
• Build positive relationships and manage class activities in both indoor and outdoor settings.
