Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a welcoming two-form-entry primary school in Bethnal Green, East London, from January 2027. You will cover maternity leave, providing structure, engaging learning opportunities, and consistency for pupils with SEND.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent qualification and have experience supporting or teaching pupils with SEND, with strong behaviour management and collaboration with TAs, parents and staff.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Has previous experience supporting or teaching pupils with SEND

Has strong behaviour management and communication skills

Is patient, nurturing and passionate about inclusive education

Can work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents and school staff

Is available to start in January 2027
