Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to join a dedicated secondary SEND department in Oxford from September 2026. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with a range of needs and adapt activities to support progress.

QTS is essential with experience in SEND; you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and ensure interventions are effective while fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • QTS is essential.
  • Experience working with SEND.
  • Differentiation and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to students with SEND.
  • Adapt learning activities to meet individual student requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the SEND department, support staff, parents and external agencies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring targeted interventions lead to positive outcomes.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes confidence, engagement and achievement.
  • Support students with a variety of needs, including learning difficulties and additional educational requirements.
